DIET, a novel scheme to strengthen in-service education at primary level, has been suggested by NPE, 1986. One of its main thrusts is to improve and enrich the academic equipment of elementary school teachers, non-formal and adult education functionaries and other personnel down the lowest, but important level of our Educational system. It organizes different kinds of INSET programmes with the help of various branches and in co-ordination with various agencies at state and national levels.
Becoming a centre of excellence which supports school education by developing competency and empowering teachers and other stakeholders of Unakoti District, through research and innovation in pedagogical, advisory and policy making, collaboration and networking for providing quality education in school education.
To nurture sustainable system for providing quality education to transform School Education in Unakoti District of Tripura.
